As part of its manpower development, the Headquarters Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) trained the personnel on combat medic with a call to be professional while handling their colleagues who may need medical attention in line of duty. In his remarks, the representative of Force Commander (FC) MNJTF Brig Gen Assouala Blama reiterated the commitment of the Force to provide requisite lifesaving skills and capacity needed for the personnel at every point in time especially in preparation for the forthcoming operation LAKE SANITY 2. This statement was made during the closing ceremony on Friday 16 December 2022.

According to Gen Assouala, the MNJTF put the training in place in other to improve the troops performance towards defeat of the remnants of Boko Haram and Islamic State of West African Province (BH/ (ISWAP) in the Lake Chad Basin region He implored the participants to make use of the knowledge acquired to safe lives of others. Speaking further, he appreciated and thanked the strategic partners for their cooperation and excellent working relationship.
Earlier, the representative of Centre for Coordination and Liaision Lt Col Wilman expressed satisfaction with the attitude of the participants during the training. He added that the participants are now well equipped to deal with any emerging situations medically.


In a related development, there was another closing ceremony for Nautical Unit Trainers which was held in Douguia on 16 December 2022. Both training climax the final training activities for the year 2022.
Highlights of the ceremony were presentation of souvenir, certificates and group photographs.
