A befitting medal presentation ceremony was held at the HQ MNJTF, Ndjamena in honour of the Military Staff Officers (MSOs) from the Republics of Nigeria and Niger who have completed their tour of duty.
The MSOs were decorated with MNJTF and Operation YANCIN TAFKI medals in recognition of their selfless service and immense contributions to the realisation of the mandates of the MNJTF. A total of 15 MSOs were presented with the two different medals each.
In his remarks, the FC, Major General IM Yusuf commended the MSOs for their dedication and outstanding performance throughout their duty tour. He urged them to be good ambassadors of the MNJTF in their respective countries.
General Yusuf encouraged the outgoing MSOs to sustain the good network of friendship they have established with their colleagues from other countries as this was vital for enhancing the cohesion of the force. Lastly, he wished them journey mercies to their respective destinations. At the end, the FC supported by his Chief of Staff presented souvenirs to the outgoing MSOs.
