KAIPTC ASSESSES THE TRAINING NEEDS OF MNJTF….. As training remains the hallmark of military professionalism.

.   The Headquarters Multinational Joint Taskforce (HQ MNJTF) hosted a 3-Man team from Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC) led by Air Commodore Arko-Dadzie Georges Kweku. The team was on Training Needs Assessment (TNA) to explore areas of possible collaboration for further training and retraining of the Military Staff Officers of HQ and at sectors’ levels.

While receiving the team, the representative of the Force Commander, Colonel Major Moussa Mahamadou (COS HQ MNJTF) acknowledged the imperative of training, as a hallmark for military professionalism, hence commended the KAIPTC team for the visit. He assured the team of absolute participation and cooperation of MNJTF team during the visit.

According to the the Team Leader, the main objectives of the visit are to assess the MNJTF and LCBC capacities, propose and develop training curriculum to fill the identified gaps. He said KAIPTC conducts several courses for individuals from different countries and organisations across the globe.

It could be recalled that MNJTF and KAIPTC partnered to develop the  capacity of MSO both at HQ and sectors’ levels for optimal performance of their duties. So far significant number of MSOs were trained on different courses at KAIPTC, thus, the visit sought to deepen to existing relationship between the two institutions.
