  • DEPUTY FORCE COMMANDER MULTINATIONAL JOINT TASK FORCE VISITS TROOPS AT RENAISSANCE HOSPITAL

The Deputy Force Commander (DFC) Brig Gen Assoualai Blama led a team from the Headquarters MNJTF to Renaissance Hospital on Tuesday 18 October 2022 to visit wounded troops from Sector 2. The troops sustained injuries following an ambush while on routine patrol within the Lake Chad Tumbuns on Monday October 17, 2022.

The DFC met with each of the wounded personnel in their respective wards and commended them for their bravery in repelling the attack while wishing them a speedy recovery. He also conveyed the FC best wishes and assured them that they would be properly cared for at the Hospital. The DFC equally commended the medical staff at the Hospital for the prompt attention given to the injured soldiers. Other members of the HQ Team, who accompanied the DFC during the visit included the COS, CMO, Chiefs J1, J2, J3, and MPIO. (Photographs attached)
