In continuation with the familirization visit to the MNJTF Sectors on Day 2, the FC, Maj Gen Jide Jeleel Ogunlade visited HQ Sector 1 Mora (Cameroon). Brig Gen Bouba Dobekreo, Commander, Sector 1 presented operational brief, highlighting current situation, challenges, achievements and projections of future plans.
Thereafter, the FC had a facilities tour within HQ premises, which include the operations room, C3IS/Communication room and the workshop. General Ogunlade also visited the hospital were he interacted with the troops, who are receiving treatment, he assured the WIA troops of adequate medical treatment and care.
As part of the community leaders’ engagement, the FC paid a courtesy visit to the traditional ruler of Wandala and the Administrative Head of Mayo Sava where he sought for continuous support and cooperation to MNJTF and national forces in the fight against insurgency in the region. He reiterated the imperative of public support to military operations as key, hence the need to interact and share information that can assist military operations.
