As part of its effort to support Lake Chad Basin Commission (LCBC) countries fighting Boko Haram terrorist group, the African Union has mobilised funds from the European Union to provide additional support to the MNJTF fighting Boko Haram.
The latest support is the procurement of Air Mobility Service to reinforce MNJTF air mobility capability, covering medical evacuation, logistics and personal transport. The air mobility service had since commenced operations.
The MNJTF is thankful to the African union and European Union for the continuing support being provided towards the restoration of peace and security in the Lake Chad Basin.
