Dans le cadre des efforts visant à éliminer la menace de l’extrémisme violent dans le Bassin du Lac Tchad, la Force Multinationale Mixte a lancé une operation dénommé «OPERATION AMNI FAKAT». Le General Irabor a ordonné aux troupes de mener cette opération de manière professionnelle et dans le respect strict des droits de l’homme.

L’objectif de l’Opération AMNI FAKAT est de libérer les îles isolées du lac Tchad qui sont actuellement les sanctuaires pour les terroristes de Boko Haram. Des troupes du Cameroun, du Tchad, du Niger et du Nigeria participent à l’opération.
