The Headquarters Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF) held a two days training seminar on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and International Human Rights Law (IHRL) from 19- 20 October 22 with the aim of further promoting the adherence to humanitarian and human rights law in the conduct of its operations.
At the end of the training session, the representative of the Force Commander MNJTF, Brig Gen Assouala Blama stated that the training was important to achieving the objective of winning the hearts and minds of the populace through professional conduct by the troops, which affects how they relate with the citizens they are there to protect. He also expressed the appreciation of MNJTF to the EU and AU for their continued support towards the training of personnel.
