The Deputy Force Commander Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Brig Gen Assoualai Blama today 27 January 2023 presided over the closing ceremony of training on C3IS CHAKA OPERATOR module which was held at HQ MNJTF. The training which was conducted at HQ MNJTF was aimed at training personnel of the MNJTF on the use and application of CHAKA in operational planning. It was also aimed at training participants on the use of the CHAKA application for effective command and control during operations.
A total of 30 MNJTF personnel made up of MSOs of HQ MNJTF and representatives of the various MNJTF sectors benefited from the training.
In his remarks, the DFC commended the participants for their discipline and dedication to the training. While congratulating them, he stressed the importance of the C3IS training which he said will enable participants to operate the C3IS equipment with ease. This according to him will improve communication on the field and enhance force protection. He urged the trainees not to forget all they have learned during the training but to put it to good use and make a positive impact in the conduct of the forthcoming operations.
He said only then will their participation in the training be adjudged beneficial to the MNJTF. He also thanked the AU-MST for making the training possible and equally appreciated the instructors for their dedication throughout the period of the training. He wished participants from the various sectors a safe return to their various locations.
Earlier, the Representative of AU-MST, M. Deuzoumbe Daniel appreciated the good relationship between the AU and the MNJTF in the implementation of the MNJTF mandate and stated that good communication will lead to the victory of the MNJTF over the BHTs. He assured the MNJTF of continued and improved support from the AU. In attendance were the COS, Chiefs of cell, and other Staff officers. The event was hitch-free.
